Ich muß mit dir reden so kam meine Tochter
Und ich sagte Bitte stör' mich jetzt nicht
Wenn ich darüber nachdenk' dann ist es mir so
Als war sie damals ganz blaß im Gesicht
Ich hatte Termine ich hab' das vergessen
Heut' fand' ich den Zettel von ihr
Es hat nicht geklappt ich bin sitzengeblieben
Ich hau' ab ihr hört bald von mir

Ich fuhr durch die Gegend ich fragte die Freunde
Und brachte nur soviel heraus
Meine Tochter hat heute ihr Zeugnis bekommen
Und traut sich damit nicht nach Haus'
Ich sagte vielleicht mal Enttäusche mich nicht
Komm' mir nicht mit Fünfern daher
Dabei glaubte ich meine Kleine zu kennen
Die nimmt das doch gar nicht so schwer

Durchnäßt und durchfroren am Ende der Kräfte
