Am Montag Abend kam ich heim es war schon ziemlich spät
Da stand ein Auto vor dem Haus wo sonst mein eigenes steht
Ich rief meine Frau und fragte sie wem das Auto da gehört
Und warum es vor der Haustür steht da rief sie ganz empört

On Monday evening I came home it was already quite late
There was a car in front of the house where my own usually stands
I called my wife and asked her who owned the car
And why it is in front of the front door she cried indignantly

This is our neighbor's child's stroller
I don't like to argue but I can't understand
I've never seen a stroller with a sunroof
On Tuesday evening I came home and again quite full
There was a coat hanging on the door where mine should hang
I called my wife and asked her who the coat belonged to
The one hanging on my hook she cried indignantly

On Wednesday I was blue again and Thursday probably too
There was a cigar there even though I don't smoke

This is lying on my desk, she cried indignantly

I don't remember exactly what happened Friday night and Saturday
On Sunday I found a man in bed with my wife
I woke her up and then asked her how she explained it to me
