Information is power, they know that very well
True or not, it doesn't matter, as long as it can sell
Liquid lies in today's paper, exciting fairy tales blow things out of proportion, will increase the sales
Making up a story, they love to fantasise
Twisting the truth seems so easy by adding a bit more spice

Ze zouden de mensen moeten informeren over de wereld van vandaag
Ze houden je op de hoogte van alles, tenminste dat zeggen ze
Informatie is macht, dat weten ze heel goed
Waar of niet, het maakt niet uit, zolang het maar verkoopt
Vloeibare leugens in de krant van vandaag, spannende sprookjes blazen dingen op, zullen de verkoop verhogen
Een verhaal verzinnen, ze houden ervan te fantaseren
De waarheid verdraaien lijkt zo makkelijk met een beetje extra spice
