you went as far as it goes,
as good as you can't complain,
but you're still all alone, and it all still seems the same,
maybe it's not the way and it shouldn't have gone this far,
willingness and sudden greed made it all that much too hard.
see me sad; that would make you mad and a hunch that made a pain,
it's true that the way you made me makes me fear a sudden change,
maybe its a good thing that im mad enough to take to heart,
meaningless meets sudden ease when i'm picked to play that part.

fuiste tan lejos como se puede,
tan bueno que no puedes quejarte,
pero sigues estando solo, y todo sigue pareciendo igual,
tal vez no es la forma y no debería haber llegado tan lejos,
la voluntad y la codicia repentina lo hicieron todo demasiado difícil.
verme triste; eso te enojaría y una corazonada que causó dolor,
es cierto que la forma en que me hiciste me hace temer un cambio repentino,
tal vez es algo bueno que esté lo suficientemente enojado como para tomarlo en serio,
lo sin sentido se encuentra con la facilidad repentina cuando soy elegido para interpretar ese papel.
