From the borders of these rivers i’ve seen sunny and rainy days
I’ve been feeling smooth breezes and the toughest hurricanes
But the courses of these rivers have always been the same
As the honor and the heart of the most respectable men
You may feel a thousand feelings you may win a thousand brawls
But it’s already inside your veins
You cannot change what you’re made of
From the borders of these rivers i grew up from a kid to a man
I have found my real essence and i have lost my silly faith
But the courses of these rivers will be here every day
And they’ll take away my doubts as my pain and my mistakes
Even if you try to mask you can’t change
