Todo dia às sete horas, em minha congregação
Mesmo que estejam enfadados
Os irmãos chegam animados, com
Sua bíblia na mão
Mas, o crente do relógio!
Sempre tem ocupação
Quando todos estão orando
É, que ele vem chegando
Já no fim da oração
O crente do Relógio!
Tem cuidado, meu irmão!
Chega tarde na igreja
Vem de olho no relógio
E não gosta de oração!
Se o pastor demora muito
Prolongando a pregação
Ele olha no relógio
Se levanta e vai embora
Assistir televisão
Sete meia e oito horas
Ele sai lá no portão!
Quando o tempo está
Encoberto e parece que vai chover
Eu não sei, se vou lá não
Naquele vai e não vai
Toma logo a decisão!
Preocupado com a vida
Vai pro culto e esquece à bíblia
E chega tarde na oração
Se o pastor está pregando
Ele não presta à atenção
Quando não tá conversando
Ele fica cochilando, chega a bíblia
Cai da mão!
Não espera o fim do culto
E se tem ocupação, ele olha no
Relógio!
Se levanta e vai embora
Assistir televisão
Segunda-feira não vai à igreja
Terça-feira, também não!
Quarta-feira é ocupado!
Quinta-feira, está cansado
Sexta-feira é oração
Quando é no fim da semana
Ele sai lá no portão
Vixe! Tá trovejando e o
Relâmpago está cortando!
Vai chover, não vou lá não!
The Clock Believer
Every day at seven o'clock, in my congregation

When the weather

And arrives late for prayer

Clock!
Gets up and leaves
To watch TV
He doesn't go to church on Monday
Tuesday, neither!
Wednesday is busy!
Thursday, he's tired
Friday is for prayer
When it's the end of the week
He leaves at the gate
Oh no! It's thundering and the
