Isaias 41:10
Em uma noite eu sonhei, que numa praia encontrei
Duas pegadas na areia deixadas por mim
E ao meu lado alguém, outras pegadas deixou
Era o Senhor que comigo andava também
"Não temas porque contigo eu estou
Não te assombres porque sou teu Deus
Te fortaleço, te ajudo com a minha destra fiel
E quando algum sonho te perturbar
Jamais acorde porque vou estar
Sempre andando ao teu lado pra te amparar
("te carregando no colo pra onda passar")
Quando olhei para trás só uma pegada encontrei
Justo agora que eu mais precisava de ti.
Tu me disseste senhor: "Sempre contigo estarei"
Nos meus momentos de angustia, tristeza e dor.

In a night I dreamed, that on a beach I found
Two footprints in the sand left by me
And by my side someone, left other footprints
It was the Lord who walked with me too
"Do not fear for I am with you
Do not be dismayed for I am your God
I strengthen you, I help you with my faithful right hand
And when some dream disturbs you
Never wake up because I will be
Always walking by your side to support you
("carrying you in my arms for the wave to pass")
When I looked back, I found only one footprint
Just now that I needed you the most.
You told me Lord: "I will always be with you"
In my moments of anguish, sadness, and pain.
