O Sion, loda il Salvatore
e canta con gioia il tuo Pastore,
con forza e giubilo cantiamo a Lui,
a Cristo Redentore delle genti,
che dona al mondo il suo Corpo
e salva ogni uomo col suo Sangue.
O Pane vivo che dai vita,
sei dono d'amore alla tua Chiesa;
riuniti insieme nella cena
donasti agli apostoli il tuo corpo.
Il memoriale rinnoviamo
e riceviamo il tuo dono di grazia.
Sei nuova Pasqua, nuova legge
che compie gli antichi misteri.
La realtà disperde l'ombra,
la luce ormai rischiara ogni tenebra;
si svela il segno dell'amore,
rifulge il mistero di salvezza.
Al tuo comando obbedienti
il pane e il vino consacriamo.
Per noi certezza è nella fede:
il pane si trasforma in vera carne,
il vino è cambiato in sangue;
non vedi, ma la fede ti conferma.
Mistero di realtà sublimi
nel segno che appare si nasconde:
tu mangi carne, bevi sangue
ma Cristo è presente in ogni specie.
Non si divide nè si spezza,
è tutto nell'intero e nel frammento.
O Buon Pastore, vero pane,
Gesù pietà della tua Chiesa.
Difendi e nutri i tuoi fratelli
e guidali alla terra dei viventi.
Sedendo a mensa nel tuo cielo
godremo della gioia dei tuoi santi.

O Zion, Praise the Savior (sequence Praise Zion, Feast of Corpus Christi)
O Zion, praise the Savior
and sing with joy to your Shepherd,
with strength and jubilation we sing to Him,
to Christ the Redeemer of the nations,
who gives his Body to the world
and saves every man with his Blood.
O living Bread that gives life,
you are a gift of love to your Church;
gathered together at the supper
you gave your body to the apostles.
We renew the memorial
and receive your gift of grace.
You are the new Passover, the new law
that fulfills the ancient mysteries.
Reality dispels the shadow,
the light now illuminates every darkness;
the sign of love is revealed,
the mystery of salvation shines.
At your command obediently
we consecrate the bread and wine.
For us, certainty lies in faith:
the bread is transformed into true flesh,
the wine is changed into blood;
you do not see, but faith confirms it.
Mystery of sublime realities
in the sign that appears it hides:
you eat flesh, drink blood
but Christ is present in every species.
He is not divided nor broken,
he is all in the whole and in the fragment.
O Good Shepherd, true bread,
Jesus have mercy on your Church.
Defend and nourish your brothers
and guide them to the land of the living.
Sitting at the table in your heaven
we will enjoy the joy of your saints.
