In colder dreams
An eon away
Darker be the night
And never be the day
The ever fainting moonlight
Brightens up the skies
But every passing hour
The fire slowly dies
I am waiting in a colder dream

To the warm and glowing rays

An air of silence falls
As I take a final breath
A last gasp of steam
I lay my eyes to rest
I feel the sudden footsteps
Of people gathering
A darkened sheet, a veil
Covers as they sing
