Mas trazem confusões em minha mente

Eu olho lá embaixo e vejo luzes
De cidade adormecida
Tão distante a brilhar
Na mente vem de novo minha infância
Que ficou lá na distância
É gostoso recordar
Mas dá no coração uma saudade
Dos amigos que deixei
Dos que partiram para o além
Procuro controlar
Mas não tem jeito
Porque tenho o direito
De poder chorar também
E nesse sobe e desce
Desse vai e vem da vida
Às vezes a gente se perde
Sem achar saída
Preciso encontrar um jeito
De enganar até

Just me and my loneliness
Life for me is already routine
Even the sound of the engines
Eases my tiredness
But it brings confusion to my mind
Memories of so many people
Once again, I get tangled up
I look down and see the lights
Of a sleeping city
So far away, shining bright
In my mind, my childhood comes back
That stayed far in the past
It's nice to remember
But it gives my heart a longing
For the friends I left behind
For those who moved on to the beyond
I try to hold it together
But there's no way
Because I have the right
To cry too
And in this ups and downs
This back and forth of life
Sometimes we get lost
Without finding a way out
I need to find a way
To trick even
My own heart
To go back sleeping, wrapped up
Just me and my loneliness
