Son Of God
This is a story to illustrate that when finally confronted with our sin
there are really only two genuine reactions.
Eternity hinges on whether a soul is defiant or repentant.
And whether or not they are able to believe in the "Son of God"...
1st Thief: IT HURTS!!!
You saved others, Christ! Come on! Save yourself!
If you're the Son of God come off of the cross.
They say you're a god! They say you're a king!
Well I say you're a man, and I'll watch you bleed.
You've got power! Son of God, now you're dying.
You've got power! Son of God.
Roman Guard:
They came to laugh and jeer, to scoff and to scorn!
"Behold the King of the Jews!" and his crown of thorns.
"We have no king but Caesar!" I heard the priests say.
Well I don't believe those religious folk ya know,
They're all hypocrites anyway.
You've got power! Son of God, now you're dying.
You've got power! Son of God!
2nd Thief:
Have you no shame!? No godly fear!?
Would you mock innocent blood? You and I, we know why we're here.
When you come into your Kingdom Lord, would you remember me?
Jesus: Verily today we shall be together in paradise.
2nd Thief: Oh, I'm FREE!
Roman Guard: You've got power, Son of God! Now you're dying!
1st Thief: You've got power, Son of God! Now we're dyin'!
2nd Thief: You've got power, Son of God! Raise the dead.
Hijo de Dios
Esta es una historia para ilustrar que cuando finalmente nos enfrentamos a nuestro pecado
realmente solo hay dos reacciones genuinas.
La eternidad depende de si un alma es desafiante o arrepentida.
Y si son capaces de creer en el 'Hijo de Dios'...
1er Ladrón: ¡DUELE!
¡Salvaste a otros, Cristo! ¡Vamos! ¡Sálvate a ti mismo!
Si eres el Hijo de Dios, baja de la cruz.
Dicen que eres un dios, dicen que eres un rey.
Pero yo digo que eres un hombre, y te veré sangrar.
¡Tienes poder! Hijo de Dios, ahora estás muriendo.
¡Tienes poder! Hijo de Dios.
Guardia Romano:
Vinieron a reír y burlarse, a escarnecer y despreciar.
'¡He aquí al Rey de los Judíos!' y su corona de espinas.
'¡No tenemos rey más que a César!' escuché a los sacerdotes decir.
Bueno, no creo en esa gente religiosa, sabes,
son todos hipócritas de todos modos.
¡Tienes poder! Hijo de Dios, ahora estás muriendo.
¡Tienes poder! Hijo de Dios.
2do Ladrón:
¿No tienes vergüenza!? ¿No temes a Dios!?
¿Te burlarías de sangre inocente? Tú y yo, sabemos por qué estamos aquí.
Cuando entres en tu Reino, Señor, ¿te acordarás de mí?
Jesús: Verdaderamente hoy estaremos juntos en el paraíso.
2do Ladrón: ¡Oh, estoy LIBRE!
Guardia Romano: ¡Tienes poder, Hijo de Dios! ¡Ahora estás muriendo!
1er Ladrón: ¡Tienes poder, Hijo de Dios! ¡Ahora estamos muriendo!
2do Ladrón: ¡Tienes poder, Hijo de Dios! Resucita a los muertos.
