La ciencia había consistido en destruir las ilusiones elementales de la vida,
haciendo materialmente por el hombre lo que la fe puede hacer por él.
La prosaísmo reduce a los humanos a autómatas sin almas,
símbolo colocado sin poder en fórmula aritmética.
Los esfuerzos sinceros de la humanidad por el materialismo representan la tragedia
