Empty Man
Broken one now here lays broken since he began
Lost to his vanity victim of his mind
Son of a fallen age bound and distorted man
Bound by the modern ways hopeless empty man
A modern man of highest learning
Evolved from nothing to human state
He's got his science he's got his reason
He waits for logic to dictate
He says that judgment will not be coming
He says the system is all a fake
Yet in his heart exists a yearning
For hidden things but still he can't believe
Shadow of a man
Who's reason has led him astray
He has outlived his usefulness
And logic can not find his way
And science can not heal his pain
The emptiness made him insane
And from his mind the light did pass away!
He waits for death to come and thinks behind blank stare
That if he had a soul he'd offer his last prayer
Death upon him now and he wonders in distress
Will the earth that fills his grave fill his emptiness
Will it fill his emptiness
And there he lay awaiting death, empty and lifeless;
never having believed in anything.
Hombre Vacío
Un hombre roto yace aquí desde que comenzó
Perdido en su vanidad, víctima de su mente
Hijo de una era caída, hombre atado y distorsionado
Atado por las formas modernas, hombre vacío y sin esperanza
Un hombre moderno de gran erudición
Evolucionado desde la nada al estado humano
Él tiene su ciencia, tiene su razón
Espera que la lógica dicte
Dice que el juicio no llegará
Dice que el sistema es todo un engaño
Sin embargo, en su corazón existe un anhelo
Por cosas ocultas, pero aún así no puede creer
Sombra de un hombre
Cuya razón lo ha llevado por mal camino
Ha sobrevivido a su utilidad
Y la lógica no puede encontrar su camino
Y la ciencia no puede sanar su dolor
La vacuidad lo volvió loco
¡Y de su mente la luz se desvaneció!
Espera que la muerte llegue y piensa detrás de una mirada vacía
Que si tuviera un alma, ofrecería su última oración
La muerte sobre él ahora y se pregunta angustiado
¿La tierra que llena su tumba llenará su vacío?
¿Llenará su vacío?
Y allí yace esperando la muerte, vacío y sin vida;
nunca habiendo creído en nada.
