That used to be a gallery wall
Lots of pictures, super classy
Sad I had to make the call, but
In scouring for mold, I had to take the place apart
Because sometimes to solve a problem

Apparently, cement can get old?
In trying to fix one thing, I made everything worse

Eight, take care of this duck I found
Seven, clean out the pipes for the bathroom and the kitchen
Six, rebuild the wall
Five, keep out the pests
Four, kill the black mold
Three, rewire the ceiling

Also ging ich auf den Dachboden
Und zu meiner größten Freude
Da ist es, schwarzer Schimmel

Beim Suchen nach Schimmel musste ich den Platz auseinandernehmen
Denn manchmal, um ein Problem zu lösen
Folgt man ihm zurück zum Anfang

Als ich versuchte, die Wand wieder aufzubauen, die ich abgerissen hatte
Entdeckte ich zwei Löcher, die direkt in den Boden gegraben waren
Und ich hatte nicht das Herz, sie zu beseitigen
Also wuchs meine Liste
Aber dann war der Zement, den ich fand, um die klaffenden Löcher zu füllen
Nicht gut, er hielt nicht
Offensichtlich kann Zement alt werden?
Beim Versuch, eine Sache zu reparieren, machte ich alles schlimmer

Neun, neuen Zement kaufen
Acht, mich um diese Ente kümmern, die ich fand
Sieben, die Rohre für das Bad und die Küche reinigen
Sechs, die Wand wieder aufbauen
Fünf, die Schädlinge fernhalten
Vier, den schwarzen Schimmel beseitigen
Drei, die Decke neu verkabeln
Zwei, die Glühbirne reparieren
Und eins, dich vergessen

Ich finde es schön
Dich zu sehen, wie du dieses alte Haus renovierst
