Epidemic Ignorance
Another war, a thousand dead
Passed from the screen into my head.
Upset for a minute but in a while
I change channel and my anger is replaced with a smile.
Suffered destruction of my mind,
The same as the rest of all mankind,
Blockades the head from everything
That makes you feel guilty, sick or sad.
Still I believe there's got to be a way
That makes everybody feel O.K.
But when I listen to what people have to say,
I think it seems like they are all afraid
To react, and take stand...
Against this ignorance, that rules our world.
Infect people's mind, with virus you can't find.
A gigantic reformation of this whole society
Is the only way to see the end of this malady spreading rapidly.
Keep up your spirit, keep your dream,
Keep up your hope and self-esteem.
Try to react on inequity,
Together work to achieve equality.

Otra guerra, mil muertos
Pasaron de la pantalla a mi cabeza.
Molesto por un minuto pero luego
Cambio de canal y mi enojo es reemplazado por una sonrisa.
He sufrido la destrucción de mi mente,
Lo mismo que el resto de la humanidad,
Bloquea la mente de todo
Que te hace sentir culpable, enfermo o triste.
Aún creo que tiene que haber una manera
Que haga que todos se sientan bien.
Pero cuando escucho lo que la gente tiene que decir,
Creo que parece que todos tienen miedo
De reaccionar y tomar posición...
Contra esta ignorancia, que gobierna nuestro mundo.
Infecta la mente de las personas, con un virus que no puedes encontrar.
Una reforma gigantesca de toda esta sociedad
Es la única forma de ver el fin de esta enfermedad que se propaga rápidamente.
Mantén tu espíritu, mantén tu sueño,
Mantén tu esperanza y autoestima.
Intenta reaccionar ante la inequidad,
Trabaja juntos para lograr la igualdad.
