Apocalyptic Riders
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals
And I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying
Come and see
And I saw, and behold a white horse
And he that sat on him had a bow
And a crown was given unto him
And he went forth conquering, and to conquer
And there went out another horse that was red
And power was given unto him that sat thereon
To take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another
And there was given unto him a great sword
And I beheld, and lo a black horse
And he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand
And I looked, and behold a pale horse
And his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him
And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth
To kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth
And I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God
And for the testimony which they held
And they cried with a loud voice, saying
How long, O Lord, holy and true
Dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every one of them
And it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season
Until their fellowservants also and their brethren
That should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled
And, lo, there was a great earthquake
And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair
And the moon became as blood
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together
And every mountain and island were moved out of their places
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men
And the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man
Hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains
And said to the mountains and rocks
Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne
And from the wrath of the Lamb
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Vi cuando el Cordero abrió uno de los sellos
Y escuché, como el ruido de un trueno, a una de las cuatro bestias diciendo
Ven y mira
Vi, y he aquí un caballo blanco
Y el que lo montaba tenía un arco
Y se le dio una corona
Y salió conquistando, y para conquistar
Y salió otro caballo que era rojo
Y se le dio poder al que estaba sentado en él
Para quitar la paz de la tierra, y que se mataran unos a otros
Y se le dio una gran espada
Y vi, y he aquí un caballo negro
Y el que lo montaba tenía una balanza en la mano
Y miré, y he aquí un caballo pálido
Y el nombre del que lo montaba era Muerte, y el Infierno lo seguía
Y se les dio poder sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra
Para matar con espada, con hambre, con muerte, y con las bestias de la tierra
Y vi bajo el altar las almas de los que fueron sacrificados por la palabra de Dios
Y por el testimonio que sostenían
Y clamaban a gran voz, diciendo
¿Hasta cuándo, Señor, santo y verdadero
No juzgas y vengas nuestra sangre sobre los habitantes de la tierra?
Y se les dio a cada uno una túnica blanca
Y se les dijo que descansaran un poco más
Hasta que también se cumpliera el destino de sus compañeros y hermanos
Que debían ser sacrificados como ellos, se cumpliera
Y he aquí, hubo un gran terremoto
Y el sol se puso negro como cilicio de pelo
Y la luna se volvió como sangre
Y el cielo se separó como un pergamino cuando se enrolla
Y todas las montañas e islas se movieron de sus lugares
Y los reyes de la tierra, y los hombres importantes, y los ricos
Y los poderosos, y todo siervo, y todo libre
Se escondieron en las cuevas y en las rocas de las montañas
Y decían a las montañas y a las rocas
Caed sobre nosotros, y escondednos del rostro de aquel que está sentado en el trono
Y de la ira del Cordero
Porque ha llegado el gran día de su ira; ¿y quién podrá sostenerse?
