Gleams In The Dark
I run
I raise my head, I watch the sky free from clouds
Illuminated by the last rays of the sun: the twilight
The shade advances upon the road, and I devise a defiance with myself
The light is life, the shade is death
Sometimes the insignificant things of life become essential
Sometimes the gleams in the dark of life that give the strength to go on...
In my mind the game becomes reality and a true fear
Passes through me, into my soul, into my eyes
The speed, the wind of my face, the chest rises and drops
My legs leave the the road behind my back, with frenzy
Adrenaline its metal taste fills my mouth
I clench my teeth
My will against the law of the universe
I reach the light, I raise my arms, I stop and cry like a child
I shout towards the sky, my joy for a beauty and useless victory
Destellos en la Oscuridad
Corro
Levanto la cabeza, observo el cielo libre de nubes
Iluminado por los últimos rayos del sol: el crepúsculo
La sombra avanza sobre el camino, y trazo un desafío conmigo mismo
La luz es vida, la sombra es muerte
A veces las cosas insignificantes de la vida se vuelven esenciales
A veces los destellos en la oscuridad de la vida que dan la fuerza para seguir...
En mi mente el juego se convierte en realidad y un verdadero miedo
Me atraviesa, llega a mi alma, a mis ojos
La velocidad, el viento en mi rostro, el pecho se eleva y cae
Mis piernas dejan la carretera atrás, con frenesí
La adrenalina, su sabor metálico llena mi boca
Aprieto los dientes
Mi voluntad contra la ley del universo
Alcanzo la luz, levanto mis brazos, me detengo y lloro como un niño
Grito hacia el cielo, mi alegría por una belleza y una victoria inútil
