Senhor tu me sondas
E me conheces, sabes quando assento e levanto
Esquadrinhas meu andar e meu deitar
Conheces todos os meus caminhos
Ainda a palavra não me chegou a boca não
E Tu já conheces Senhor
Tu me cercas por trás e por diante
E sobre mim põe Tua mão
Sonda-me ó Deus conhece o meu coração
Prova-me os pensamentos
Vê se há em mim algum caminho mal
E guia-me pelo caminho eterno

Lord, you search me
And you know me, you know when I sit and rise
You scrutinize my path and my lying down
You know all my ways
Even before a word is on my tongue
You already know, Lord
You surround me behind and before
And you lay your hand upon me
Search me, O God, know my heart
Test my thoughts
See if there is any wicked way in me
And lead me in the way everlasting
