Pois ele me ouviu sem nem me interromper
E olhando em seus olhos não vi me condenar
Agora que aprendi não quero mais sofrer
Vivendo de migalhas caídas pelo chão
Eu dobro os meus joelhos e choro pra Deus
Agora eu não choro mais em vão
O choro pra Deus é mais que mil palavras
Uma lágrima que cai derruba muralha
Destrói os inimigos faz o mal sair
Você chora e Deus escuta sua lágrima cair
O inferno estremece se os joelhos se dobram
Foi assim com Daniel os leões se calaram
Não resista, não desista de chorar ajoelhado
Deus atende o seu choro

I Don't Cry in Vain Anymore
Today I said a prayer, so different
With tears in my eyes, with pain in my heart
I felt the need to kneel down
To humble myself, to lay down all my burdens and heavy loads
With scars from the past, that suffocate the present
Then I remembered, the Lord who can hear me without judging
There I poured out everything I said
And with sincerity, I could talk
For He listened to me without interrupting
And looking into His eyes, I didn’t see condemnation
Now that I’ve learned, I don’t want to suffer anymore
Living off crumbs that fall to the ground
I bend my knees and cry out to God
Now I don’t cry in vain anymore
Crying to God is worth more than a thousand words
A falling tear breaks down walls
Destroys enemies, makes evil flee
You cry and God hears your tears fall
Hell trembles when knees hit the ground
It was like that with Daniel, the lions fell silent
