Let self-control be your furnace, and patience your goldsmith.
Aharan mat vayd hathi-aar
Let understanding be your anvil, and spiritual wisdom your hammer.
Bhau khalaa agan tap taa-o
With the Fear of God as your bellows, fan the flames of the body's inner heat, the Tapa.
Bhaandaa bhaa-o amrit tit dhal
In the crucible of love, melt the Nectar of the Name.
Gharee-ai shabad sachee taksaal.
In your heart the Divine Sound Current is forged.
Jin Kau nadar karam tin kaar.
Such is the labor of those upon whom God has given the Glance of Grace.

Mit der Furcht vor Gott als Blasebalg, fächele die Flammen der inneren Hitze des Körpers, das Tapa.
Bhaandaa bhaa-o amrit tit dhal
Im Schmelztiegel der Liebe, schmelze den Nektar des Namens.
Gharee-ai shabad sachee taksaal.
In deinem Herzen wird der göttliche Klangstrom geschmiedet.
