It lurks in the corner of every home,
real life in your living room,
the world on remote control,
(you mean there´s a real world out there man?)
clock of the people set your watches to it,
wasting your lives transfixed to it
(you just stare right through it)
A reliever of boredom the opium of fools,
you hold the controls,
they control as you view (they control you)
things going down, you know nothing about,
yeah, your oracles a television,
you shut the rest out (yeah you shut the world out)
Magnetized mesmerized hypnotized
paralyzed victimized!
(is there anybody left alive who remembers what we
did before we had television?)
sucking up, all your concentration,
draining the art of conversation
(shut the fuck up, I can't hear my TV!)
flick through the channels
same morals same lessons-
same time next station-
the same fucking message
They ain't gonna hail,
if they don't know what they´re hailing
it's time they learnt,
that the truth has been banned,
give will to opose,
these lies they´ve been bred on,
indoctrinate the youth, TV´s master plan..
how can they listen,
on the edge of their tempers?
When they can´t comprehend
they've been programmed
TV junkie you talk like a monkey
who´s pressing your buttons?

Adicto a la TV
Está al acecho en la esquina de cada hogar,
vida real en tu sala de estar,
el mundo en control remoto,
(¿quieres decir que hay un mundo real ahí afuera, hombre?)
reloj de la gente, ajusta tus relojes a él,
perdiendo sus vidas absortos en él
(solo lo miras fijamente)
Un aliviador del aburrimiento, el opio de los tontos,
tienes los controles,
ellos controlan mientras miras (te controlan)
cosas sucediendo, no sabes nada al respecto,
sí, tu oráculo es una televisión,
cierras al resto (sí, cierras al mundo)
Magnetizado, hipnotizado, paralizado,
victimizado!
(¿queda alguien vivo que recuerde lo que
hacíamos antes de tener televisión?)
absorbiendo toda tu concentración,
drenando el arte de la conversación
(¡cállate, no puedo escuchar mi TV!)
pasar por los canales
mismas morales, mismas lecciones-
mismo tiempo, próxima estación-
el mismo maldito mensaje
No te van a alabar,
si no saben por qué te alaban
es hora de que aprendan,
que la verdad ha sido prohibida,
dar voluntad para oponerse,
a esas mentiras en las que han sido criados,
adoctrinar a la juventud, el plan maestro de la TV..
¿cómo pueden escuchar,
en el borde de sus temperamentos?
cuando no pueden comprender
que han sido programados
Adicto a la TV, hablas como un mono
