The sky opened with roaring
An impetuous wind came from the north
A mighty cloud and blazing fire, brightness all around
Lightning flickering, a glittering shape appeared
on thunderous wings and wheels within a wheel
My eyes have seen the chariots of the gods
above all nations their glory dwells above the skies
they will trample out the vintage
where the grapes of wrath are stored,
the refusal of their rules brings anger to the lords
