The soul is striving

To become what the deep symbol shows

Yet I carry the star within me
The star is a ray of light above light
I am just a mirror

The pure mind reflects the force
Like the moon shines
With the light of the sun
The one and only is all that I am
My soul longs to return
The call from light to light
The soul is made of a thousand questions
It dwells within my heart
Flowing forth and coming back again
Nothing can withstand the absolute
The path to the highest is a bridge
I wander clad in my earthly form
Over the river of this world
I hear its roar though
It swallows me not
