December of '04, we got a Yuletide show
The miracle of manna, an inch of snow
It didn't melt all day
We used a trash can for a sleigh
And we still talk about it
Here at decades older, I am less impressed
Seems the blessing only comes with bitterness
Bi-annually, at least, the pipes and asphalt will freeze
And we'll still talk about it
If I wish for anything this year
It would be a bigger house
With walls spaced far enough apart
To keep my loved ones out the dark
When the power grid goes out

En diciembre del '04, tuvimos un espectáculo navideño
El milagro del maná, una pulgada de nieve
No se derritió en todo el día
