Maria saiu, saiu de manhã
Foi ver o Mestre que estava ali
Tomou por surpresa quando não avistou
Maria chorou, até perguntou: O que fizeram com Ele?
Uma voz perguntou: Por que choras, mulher?
Pra onde levaram meu Mestre daqui?
Me diz, por favor! Responda pra mim!
E a voz lhe falou:
Ele não está aqui
Porque já ressuscitou.
Nem mesmo a morte pôde parar o Dono da Vida
Nem mesmo o inferno pôde detê-lo
Pois Ele é a saída
