Eu não vou deixar de adorar a Deus
Só porque as lutas me fazem chorar
Foi assim que Paulo e Silas
Reagiram na prisão
Mesmo açoitados, corpo ensanguentados
Começaram a cantar
Com os pés aprisionados
Mas a alma está livre para adorar a Deus
E quase meia-noite um terremoto aconteceu
De maneira que os alicerces da prisão tremeu

Não me espanto se acontecer
Um terremoto e aqui também tremer
Foi o Senhor que me ouviu na aflição cantar
O meu louvor moveu o coração de Deus
A minha adoração, Ele recebeu
Pois invadiu a sala do trono de Deus
Se as cadeias da minha vida resistir
Faço como Paulo e Silas na aflição
Oro e canto louvores de adoração
E as correntes vão ao chão
Paulo e Silas foram açoitados e lançados naquela prisão
Com seus corpos todos ensanguentados
E mesmo assim, começaram a orar e cantar hinos ao Senhor
E diz a Bíblia que por volta da meia noite
Sobreveio um grande terremoto
Que sacudiu os alicerces daquela prisão
As correntes caíram
As portas se abriram e todos foram livres pelo poder de Deus
E é pelo poder dessa mesma adoração
Na autoridade do nome de Jesus
Que nós declaramos sobre a tua vida, meu irmão
Vai cair, toda corrente de enfermidade
Vai cair, o pecado e a maldade
Vai cair, toda porta fechada aqui
Em nome de Jesus, não vai resistir
Vai cair, a tristeza e toda opressão
Vai cair, o engano e a confusão
Vai cair, como Paulo e Silas na prisão

I pray and sing praises of worship
And the chains will fall to the ground
Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown into that prison
With their bodies all bloodied
And still, they began to pray and sing hymns to the Lord
And the Bible says that around midnight
A great earthquake came
That shook the foundations of that prison
The chains fell
The doors opened and everyone was set free by the power of God
And it’s by the power of that same worship
In the authority of the name of Jesus
That we declare over your life, my brother
Every chain of sickness will fall
Sin and wickedness will fall
Every closed door here will fall
In the name of Jesus, it won't resist
Sadness and all oppression will fall
Deception and confusion will fall
Like Paul and Silas in prison
