Fonte grande de prazer
Meu lugar de fala, liberdade!
Resistência em cada amanhecer
No rosto dessa gente tem história
Que conta a verdade desse chão
Saudade é chama viva na memória
Daqueles que cumpriram a missão
Preta voz que não se cala, é atitude!
Negritude na pele de tantos bambas
E ninguém deixa cair, somos herdeiros
Nosso terreiro é morada do samba
Nas águas a energia da mulher
É força, é raça, axé
O canto do anjo negro ecoou
Bateu forte no couro, o pelo arrupiou
O deixa a gira girar ôôô
Mutalambô okê, okê
Desço a ladeira pro meu sonho conquistar
Na rua sete, laroyê!
Moro lá na montanha
Bem pertinho do céu
Minha raiz é luta ancestral
A paz de zambi a nos guiar
Ritmo forme é quizomba é persistir
O meu legado não se apagará
Brilha no olhar a esperança
Punho cerrado, comunidade
Quem tem fé a vitória alcança
De corpo e alma sou quilombo piedade!

Of those who fulfilled the mission
Black voice that doesn't quiet down, it's attitude!
Blackness in the skin of so many samba masters
And no one lets it fall, we are heirs
Our yard is the home of samba
In the waters the energy of the woman
Is strength, is race, axé
The song of the black angel echoed
It hit hard on the drum, the skin bristled
Let the gira spin around
Mutalambô okê, okê
I go down the hill to conquer my dream
On street seven, laroyê!
I live up in the mountain
Very close to the sky
My root is ancestral struggle
The peace of zambi guiding us
Rhythm is strength, is quizomba is to persist
My legacy will not be erased
Hope shines in the eyes
Closed fist, community
Who has faith achieves victory
Body and soul, I am quilombo piedade!
