Jimmy
Jimmy wakes up hoping today will be a better day,
hoping somehow today will be better than yesterday.
Frustration, hate, and lies and anger are all he sees today.
What a lame day when Jimmy hasn't even left his bed.
If Jimmy leaves his room he knows just what's in store.
A house full of drama and he can't take no more.
Then his brother stops and glares and stares and says,
"You think you're better than me!"
What's going on why won't they let Jimmy be?
And Jimmy said...
[Chorus:]
I'm not going home tonight
It just don't feel right.
I'm gonna have to stay out late.
I've gotta figure this one out
On these lonely streets oh yeah,
And it's the only way.
Jimmy's parents argue about the house.
"Where's the dinner?" Dad yells.
Mom says, "I had to buy a blouse."
Why is the house such a mess, what did you do today?
Mother yells back, "You just don't love me anyway!"
The gum in Jimmy's mouth had already lost it's taste
when Jimmy decided to give up and walk away.
Then he found himself on the streets feeling all alone.
And all he wants now is to be back home.
And Jimmy said

Jimmy se despierta esperando que hoy sea un día mejor,

Frustración, odio, mentiras y enojo es todo lo que ve hoy.
Qué día tan aburrido cuando Jimmy ni siquiera ha salido de su cama.
Si Jimmy sale de su habitación, sabe lo que le espera.
Una casa llena de drama y él no puede soportarlo más.
Entonces su hermano se detiene, fulmina con la mirada y dice,
'¡Crees que eres mejor que yo!'
¿Qué está pasando? ¿Por qué no dejan a Jimmy en paz?
Y Jimmy dijo...

No voy a casa esta noche
Simplemente no se siente bien.
Tendré que quedarme fuera hasta tarde.
Tengo que resolver esto
En estas solitarias calles, oh sí,
Y es la única manera.
Los padres de Jimmy discuten sobre la casa.
'¿Dónde está la cena?' grita papá.
Mamá dice, 'Tuve que comprar una blusa.'
¿Por qué la casa está tan desordenada, qué hiciste hoy?
¡Madre responde, 'De todos modos, no me amas!'
El chicle en la boca de Jimmy ya había perdido su sabor
cuando Jimmy decidió rendirse y alejarse.
Entonces se encontró en las calles sintiéndose completamente solo.
