The Little Fete
"I take a bottle of wine and I go drink it among the
flowers.
We are allways three ... counting my shadow and my friend the
shimmering moon
Happily the moon knows nothing of drinking, and my shadow is
never thirsty
When I sing, the moon listens to me in silence. When I dance, my
shadow dances too.
After all festivities the guests must depart. This sadness I do
not know.
When I go home, the moon goes with me and my shadow follows
me"
La Pequeña Fiesta
Tomé una botella de vino y fui a beberla entre las
flores.
Siempre somos tres... contando mi sombra y mi amigo la
luna brillante
Afortunadamente la luna no sabe nada de beber, y mi sombra
nunca tiene sed
Cuando canto, la luna me escucha en silencio. Cuando
bailo, mi sombra también baila.
Después de todas las festividades los invitados deben
partir. Esta tristeza no la conozco.
Cuando regreso a casa, la luna va conmigo y mi sombra me
sigue
