fuck up cops - a fucked court system
discrimination against anyone who doesn't have a lot of money
there's high unemployment
and there's people living in the streets with no food to eat
but one more thing that we have is hatred amongst ourselves
there are scenes - from different cities - they're putting each other down
and bands they want to get paid a lot of money
they're getting greedy - and they're selling out
and kids - your friends - they're talking shit and they gossip right behind your back
sometimes i got to get away from all this shit
so i'll go down by the East River, i'll sit down by the water
and i'll try to figure it all out
why am i alive, and what the fuck is my purpose in this life
who are my real true friends and who will stick by me no matter what!

verrotte politie - een verrot rechtssysteem
discriminatie tegen iedereen die niet veel geld heeft
er is hoge werkloosheid
en er zijn mensen die op straat leven zonder eten om te eten
maar nog iets wat we hebben is haat onder elkaar
er zijn scènes - uit verschillende steden - ze trekken elkaar naar beneden
en bands willen veel geld verdienen
dat ze hebzuchtig worden - en ze verkopen zichzelf
en kinderen - je vrienden - ze praten achter je rug om
soms moet ik wegkomen van al deze shit

en probeer ik alles uit te zoeken
waarom ben ik alive, en wat de fuck is mijn doel in dit leven
