Twilight On Humanity
[part I: the mundane world]
Day by day we follow our routines
Not much changes in our lives
With every dawn another sunrise
A never ending cycle in our minds
Never once did we stop to think
What if this all came to an end?
If everything we knew was gone
If reality became pretend
But you carry on as if nothing will change
Nothing is out of place, nothing new or strange
Familiarity has become part of you
It rules your judgement on what is false or true
Did you ever wonder why it is this way?
Did you ever ask if other worlds exist?
Could it be that we're the only ones
Or are there others hiding in the mist
What if there was a world that we did not know of
Where creatures lurk below and dragons soar above
And what if that world began to enter ours
Would it enter quietly or with devastating power?
[part II: tear in the fabric of reality]
It started subtly, unseen by all
Thought as insanity, the common man would just ignore
In shadows they did hide until the time
When they'd break free and ride, but now they just wait for the sign
The gate has opened up between the worlds
And now the change it comes for men and women of this earth
The dark is on its way to claim our lands
No matter how we try it can't be stopped by mortal hands
So few have seen the change and how they try
To warn everyone before they die
But they are not believed, they're thought insane
They're hunted down like dogs, captured and then locked away
The darkness soon spread far, the time was near
The demons would soon rise and fill the world with pain and fear
The death toll then increased each passing day
The evil hunt began, the humans had become the prey
Then it was too late, the time had come
An evil killing spree already begun
There mission to destroy the human race
Technology was lost man would fight with sword and mace
[part III: the coming of evil]
Demons are among us the evil ones have come
Spreading their destruction, killing everyone
How can we fight that which we do not know
Mankind has lost everything a new dark age is hear
Evil spreading sorrow, agony and fear
Despair is rising, all hopes are low
Governments have fallen, nations are no more
No one left to fight this most unholy war
Why is this happening, no one can tell
Dragons flying overhead, breath of fire burns
Goblin armies marching in, death at every turn
No one to save us from this nightmarish hell
Their numbers grow each day, ten thousand strong
How can we hope to win, it won't be long
Before we are destroyed, become extinct
They eat our flesh and bone and our life-blood they do drink
[part IV: a hope arrives]
Suddenly a hope came to us
From the immortal realms
Elves with mighty swords and armor
Rugged dwarves as well
Magic wielding fairies casting
Fireballs bright as the sun
Satyrs, fauns and centaurs joined them
Battle has begun
[part V: battle between good and evil]
Evil: death is coming
Good: it's you who'll die
Evil: immortal power
Good: our swords held high
Evil: the dead will rise
Good: we will prevail
Evil: you can't defeat us
Good: send you to hell
[part VI: the balance]
And so the two armies fought, neither able to claim victory over the other
Instead a balance was reached
Half the world basked in light, while the half suffered in darkness
The world was split in two
The earth had been reborn
The fine line that divides
Humanity is torn
To tip the scales their way, both sides did try
But balance did prevail though many died
A new dawn has arrived and now they see
A new dark age is here, twilight on humanity!
Crepúsculo Sobre la Humanidad
[parte I: el mundo mundano]
Día a día seguimos nuestras rutinas
Pocas cosas cambian en nuestras vidas
Con cada amanecer otro amanecer
Un ciclo interminable en nuestras mentes
Nunca una vez paramos a pensar
¿Qué pasaría si todo esto llegara a su fin?
Si todo lo que conocemos desapareciera
Si la realidad se volviera ficción
Pero sigues adelante como si nada cambiara
Nada está fuera de lugar, nada nuevo o extraño
La familiaridad se ha vuelto parte de ti
Rige tu juicio sobre lo falso o verdadero
¿Alguna vez te preguntaste por qué es así?
¿Alguna vez preguntaste si existen otros mundos?
¿Podría ser que seamos los únicos
O hay otros escondidos en la neblina?
¿Y si hubiera un mundo del que no supiéramos?
Donde criaturas acechan abajo y dragones vuelan arriba
Y ¿qué pasaría si ese mundo empezara a entrar en el nuestro?
¿Entraría silenciosamente o con un poder devastador?
[parte II: rasgón en el tejido de la realidad]
Comenzó sutilmente, invisible para todos
Considerado como locura, el hombre común simplemente ignoraría
En las sombras se escondían hasta el momento
Cuando se liberarían y cabalgarían, pero ahora solo esperan la señal
La puerta se ha abierto entre los mundos
Y ahora el cambio viene para hombres y mujeres de esta tierra
La oscuridad se acerca para reclamar nuestras tierras
No importa cuánto intentemos, no puede ser detenida por manos mortales
Tan pocos han visto el cambio y cómo intentan
Advertir a todos antes de morir
Pero no son creídos, se les considera locos
Son cazados como perros, capturados y luego encerrados
La oscuridad pronto se extendió lejos, el tiempo estaba cerca
Los demonios pronto se levantarían y llenarían el mundo de dolor y miedo
El número de muertos aumentaba cada día
La caza del mal comenzó, los humanos se habían convertido en presa
Entonces fue demasiado tarde, el momento había llegado
Una matanza malvada ya había comenzado
Su misión era destruir la raza humana
La tecnología se perdió, el hombre lucharía con espada y maza
[parte III: la llegada del mal]
Los demonios están entre nosotros, los malvados han llegado
Extendiendo su destrucción, matando a todos
¿Cómo podemos luchar contra lo que no conocemos?
La humanidad lo ha perdido todo, una nueva era oscura está aquí
El mal se propaga tristeza, agonía y miedo
La desesperación aumenta, todas las esperanzas son bajas
Los gobiernos han caído, las naciones ya no existen
Nadie queda para luchar en esta guerra más impía
¿Por qué está pasando esto, nadie puede decir?
Dragones volando arriba, aliento de fuego quema
Ejércitos de duendes marchando, muerte en cada giro
Nadie para salvarnos de este infierno de pesadilla
Su número crece cada día, diez mil fuertes
¿Cómo podemos esperar ganar, no será mucho tiempo?
Antes de que seamos destruidos, extinguidos
Ellos comen nuestra carne y hueso y beben nuestra sangre
[parte IV: llega una esperanza]
De repente una esperanza vino a nosotros
De los reinos inmortales
Elfos con espadas y armaduras poderosas
Enanos robustos también
Hadas que manejan la magia lanzando
Bolas de fuego brillantes como el sol
Sátiros, faunos y centauros se unieron a ellos
La batalla ha comenzado
[parte V: batalla entre el bien y el mal]
Mal: la muerte se acerca
Bien: eres tú quien morirá
Mal: poder inmortal
Bien: nuestras espadas en alto
Mal: los muertos se levantarán
Bien: prevaleceremos
Mal: no puedes derrotarnos
Bien: te mandaremos al infierno
[parte VI: el equilibrio]
Y así las dos armadas lucharon, ninguna capaz de reclamar la victoria sobre la otra
En su lugar, se alcanzó un equilibrio
La mitad del mundo se bañaba en luz, mientras la otra sufría en la oscuridad
El mundo se dividió en dos
La tierra había renacido
La fina línea que divide
La humanidad está desgarrada
Para inclinar la balanza a su favor, ambos bandos lo intentaron
Pero el equilibrio prevaleció aunque muchos murieron
Un nuevo amanecer ha llegado y ahora ven
Una nueva era oscura está aquí, ¡crepúsculo sobre la humanidad!
