The Black Carriage

A carriage is arriving announcing death is coming
At the doors of a prison it stops very slowly
They sent for a prisoner but he doesn't know what they want

The prisoner arrived silently, upon knowing he stayed mute
When he saw the withered face, a tear he held back
My love of my life, here my world ends

It was the prisoner's wife who died in the hospital
Before dying, she told them as her last wish
