Redde Hij mij aan het kruisHe saved me on the cross

Het lege graf spreekt nog steedsThe empty tomb still speaks
Want de dood kon mijn Redder niet vasthoudenFor death could not keep my Saviour down
Hij leeft en ik ben vrijHe lives and I am free
Nu richt ik mijn ogen op mijn RedderNow on my Saviour, I fix my eyes
Mijn leven is van Hem en Zijn hoop is de mijne!My life is His and His hope is mine!
Want Hij heeft beloofd dat ook ik zal opstaanFor He has promised I, too, will rise

En in dit Evangelie is de kerk éénAnd in this Gospel the church is one
