Whiskey And Me

Whiskey und ich

Whiskey And Me

I've never been so tired
Habe die ganze Nacht wach gebliebenStayed awake all through
Irgendwas beschäftigt meinen KopfThe night got something on my mind
I loved she said that she loved me
I'm alone it's just whiskey and me

Am Freitag, als sie mich verließ, nahm sie alles mit, was sie hatteOn friday when she left me took everything she owned
Ihre schlechten Platten, ihre schäbigen UnterhosenHer bad records, her bad knickers
Ihren alten Fernseher und ihre alten KlamottenHer bad tv and her old clothes
Ich wollte sie besitzen, sie wollte frei seinI wanted to possess her she wanted to be free
Ich bin allein, nur Whiskey und ichI'm alone it's just whiskey and me

I got lonely took a ride out in my car
Endete damit, schwer in einer verrauchten Single-Bar zu trinkenWound up drinking heavy in a smokey singles bar
I loved I thought that she loved me
I'm alone it's just whiskey and me

I went looking and I found her in the park
Ich zog meinen Revolver und schoss ihr ins HerzI took out my revolver and I shot her in the heart
Sie sagte, sie wollte Freiheit, ich schätze, ich habe sie befreit, jaShe said she wanted freedom I guess I set her free, yeah
I'm alone it's just whiskey and me
