The truth, everyone says they want the truthA verdade, todos falam que querem a verdade
But I will speak honestlyMas eu vou falar com sinceridade
Many prefer to deceive themselves with liesMuitos preferem se enganar com a mentira
For not supporting the truth!Por não suportar a verdade!

And Jesus saidE disse Jesus
I am the way, the truth and the lifeSou o caminho, a verdade e a vida
And no one comes to the Father except through MeE ninguém vem ao Pai senão por Mim
No one comes to the Father without the truthNinguém vem ao Pai sem a verdade

The truth is that Jesus is coming backA verdade é que Jesus está voltando
And a lot of people are playing with their salvationE muita gente está brincando com a sua salvação
The truth is we are claimingA verdade é que estamos alegando
Loving a God we have never seen without loving our brotherAmar um Deus que nunca vimos sem amar o nosso irmão

The truth is that we preach holinessA verdade é que pregamos santidade
With much eloquence, but without sanctificationCom muita eloquência, mas sem santificação
The truth is that there are people confusing ministryA verdade é que tem gente confundindo ministério
And called with self-promotionE chamado com auto-promoção

By submerging in the waves and the unbelief of ThomasPor submergir nas ondas e a incredulidade de Tomé
But in reality, we lack sincerityMas na verdade, nos falta sinceridade
To ask Christ to increase our faithPara pedir a Cristo que aumente a nossa fé

If people wanted the truthSe o povo quisesse a verdade
I would accept Christ and not BarabbasAceitaria a Cristo e não a Barrabás
If love was greater than moneySe o amor fosse maior que o dinheiro
Judas would not hand over the one he claimed to loveJudas não entregaria aquele quem dizia amar

If the truth were the prioritySe a verdade fosse a prioridade
Even our messages would have to changeAté nossas mensagens teriam que mudar
We would silence our willCalaríamos a nossa vontade
And we would hear what God wants to sayE ouviríamos o que Deus quer falar

The truth no one comes to Me without the truthA verdade ninguém vem a Mim sem a verdade
I want people who truly love meEu quero um povo que me ame de verdade
What's the point of raising your hands?Do que adianta o erguer de suas mãos?
If there is no sincerity in your worship?Se na sua adoração não houver sinceridade?

The truth is not speaking, the truth is not offeringA verdade no falar, a verdade no ofertar
Don't close your eyes to worship My nameNo fechar dos olhos para o Meu nome adorar
Be true when you take up My altarSeja verdadeiro quando assumir o Meu altar
And don't speak in My name if I don't tell you toE não fale em Meu nome se Eu não mandar

Truth in Praying and Using Your GiftsA verdade no orar e ao usar o seus dons
To get to Me you have to enter the pathPra chegar até Mim tem que entrar pelo caminho
Receive life and live the truthReceber a vida e viver a verdade
