Ella era virgen entonces, un niño en un millónShe was a virgin then, a child in a million
Con profundos ojos avellana de aguda intuiciónWith deep round hazel eyes of bazing intuition

Quiero mostrarte algo y es algo que acabo de escribirI wanna show you something and it's something I've just written

Vio a su feliz familia convertirse en un hogar rotoShe watched her happy family turn to a broken home
Su padre se fue con otra persona, su madre solaHer father left with someone else, her mother on her own
Su decimocuarto cumpleaños, su madre lo pasó llorandoHer fourteenth birthday, her mother spent in tears
Ella lo celebró sola, sus años adolescentes.She celebrated on her own, her adolescent years.
Fue un infierno entonces, atrapada en el fuego cruzadoIt was hell then, caught in the crossfire
De un triángulo emocional que no podía mantener unidoOf an emotional triangle she couldn't keep together
La escuché suavemente sollozar en mi hombroI heard her softly as she sobbed upon my shoulder
Diciendo "Eres lo más cercano que tengo a un hermanoSaying "As you are the closest thing I've got to a brother
Explícame por qué la vida es tan triste"Explain to me why is life so sad"
