Ich fürchte mich nichtI will not fear
Vor Pfeilen oder der NachtThe arrows or the night
Während Tausende fallenAs thousands fall
Zu meiner Linken und zu meiner RechtenTo my left and to my right

Doch ich werde bleiben, im Schutz deines SchattensBut I will abide, in the safety of your shadow
Unter deinen Flügeln, wird mein Herz zur Ruhe kommenUnder your wings, my heart will find its rest

Die Bösen fallenThe wicked fall
Und mit meinen Augen sehe ichAnd with my eyes I see
Doch deine TreueBut your faithfulness
Wird ein Schild für mich seinWill be a shield to me

Denn ich habe gemacht, meinen Wohnsitz in dir, Gott'Cause I have made, my dwelling place in You God
Und ich habe keine Angst, denn ich werde von dir gehalten, GottAnd I'm not afraid, 'cause I am held by You God
