Tiny Tears

(Little eyes cried on and on you never could have gone)
If you had seen your babies cry those little tiny tears
I guess you didn't see them by the door
They stood just barely two feet from the floor
They watched you go until you disappeared
Then after that could not hold back their little tiny tears
Tiny tears they couldn't keep from falling
Little ears heard more than they should hear

The tears that fell they made no sound at all but then they hadn't very far to fall
Our little ones seemed older than their years
