pintan la ventana,paint the window,
manchan el techo de verde febril.stain the ceiling feverish green.
mis visitantes fumaban cigarrillosmy visitors smoked cigarettes
y comían todo lo que me hacía sentir mal.and ate all the things that had me feeling unwell.
todo lo que salía de míeverything that came out of me
estaba mal coloreado,was wrong-colored,
o no salía en absoluto.or wasn't at all.

las voces abajo suben por la ventana,the voices below rise through the window,
fallando en hacerme sentir mejor.failing to make me well.
tocando la puerta desde adentro,knocking on the door from the inside,
tomando fotos de mi habitación por última vez.taking pictures of my room one last time.
no puedo vivir, sin.i can't live, without.
