Los arroyos de la encantadora Nancy se dividen en tres partes,The streams of lovely Nancy are divided in three parts,

Y el ruido en aquel pueblo hacía resonar las rocas.And the noise in yonder village made the rocks ring.

En el fondo de esta montaña corre un río claro,At the bottom of this mountain runs a river clear,
Un barco de las Indias una vez ancló aquí,A ship from the Indes did once anchor here,
Con sus banderas rojas ondeando y el sonido de su tambor,With her red flags a'flying and the beating of her drum,
Con dulces instrumentos de música y el disparo de su cañón.With sweet instruments of music and the firing of her gun.

En el fondo de esta montaña donde vuelan los pájaros,At the bottom of this mountain where the birds do fly,
