A sower went out early in the mornSalió muy temprano un sembrador
Throwing seeds all aroundTirando semillas en derredor
The earth was thirsty for loveEstaba la tierra sedienta de amor
And the furrow awaited the precious giftY el surco esperando el precioso don

What the sower hadQué tenía el sembrador
He wanted to see the flower growÉl quería ver crecer la flor

But the grain that fellPero el grano que cayó
By the edge of the roadA la orilla del camino

Other seeds landedOtras semillas fueron a dar
On the hard stones of a gravel pitA las duras piedras de un pedregal
