So many sleepless nights
Wasted on such simple things
Another lie to ponder on
The world is run by those who sin

Time passes me by
As I try to fall asleep
But it just wont come to me
Those who know what's right wont make a peep

Why do we all run in circles?
Why cant we just go strait?
We never get right to the point
All my words have become dead weight
Too many worthless matters
Stuck inside my worthless head
No longer can my thoughts fly free
My inspiration's gone, I'm dead

How can I ever sleep
Not knowing if I will wake?
But do I even want to
If this life is just a mistake?

Time, I have no concept of
Every second, an eternity
The first light of tomorrow
Not something that I want to see
