Shock And Awe

How can you kill and call it freedom
You stake claim to the war on terror and your first strike is shock and awe
You work so hard to reduce our rights and you say you're keeping us free
You bend the laws and spy on us, you look like the terrorist to me

How can you kill and call it liberty
Tax dollars for gun fodder
Empty shells that were used to kill
No honor heavenly father
No honor shine your light away from me

You sit back and close your eyes while the death and destruction fills our lives
You turn your back on your own people and you wonder why they don't trust
