Shallow graves in the morning dew
A sea of souls denied their youth
Actor leaves the stage
No one heard what he had to say
Standing at an unmarked tomb
Those who lived were oh so few
Clarity of vision fades
Tragedies make the best of plays

In dark places terror thickens
Unseen fears take my strength away
Cold and haunting familiar voices
I hear their blame for living on

All the brave knew but one
