I see your life fading today
You lay as the sky brings the rain
All the while your life fades away
A though twists closer with rain

I wish I could go backwards in time
Back to the world where we're doing fine
I wish I could see once again
A blue sky as you hear a friend

I was mad that you were calling it over
I was hurt that you didn't wait for me
I can't breathe I'm choking on sorrow
I realise now it was me who made you leave

The dream is so cold and descending
It brings like a child to the truth
The dream of my will is never ending
Now there's nothing left that I can do

What should I say to my old friends?
If I saw them while walking on the street
Would I be able to ask for their forgiveness?
Or grit my teeth and hide until they leave
