Ten Days

10 days we've been away
just got back yesterday
from locked up in the attic
now it's automatic soon
we'll be away for good
just like we said we would
and nothing's gunna stop us
'til we've had enough who knew

so much impatience
i wanna go again
go back to the pavement
we'll hit the road and then
we'll be right where we belong
i won't miss anything
where were we all along

now 10 years down the road
when there's no where else to go
we'll be running with the leaders
wishing still that we were kids
'cause i guess after awhile
unless we're still in denile
we'll be sick of what we'd die for
that my friend's a tragedy

this journey
has set me free
we'd better finish what we started
