Obliteration of The Self

When desperation engulfs you
Life grinds to a halt
Abandon all hope for recovery
Throw another shovel on the pile
Last gasp to retain coherency
Glimpses of truth through a broken mind
Through punctured I eyes I reflect on this
A decline into endless repetition
Deterring me
One step from destruction
The final word will be mine
As the bullet tears through me
And the bloodletting begins
