From Leaves To Hearts

A new season starts today
Spring took the cold winter away
Streams flow as the clouds cease to cry

Snow breaks under the tree
Weeds peak through the ice to see the sun
Gently kissing the earth

I dream when flowers blossom
Dew drops drip through leaves
Like the lovers touch on the smoothest skin

I wake when the moonlight comes
The stars shine, the sunlight bids farewell
When the night falls
And the wind sings us melodies
Will the sun rise?

Black birds singing my name
They want me come out and play
When life flows from the skies into the ground
