Riding down the highway
On a quiet, still, darkened world
So many miles through the kingdom of drought
Like a lightning on burning wheels

Down the red desert sunset
Glowing in the western sky
Static on the radio
Like thousand voices calling my name

And at the fall of men
All civilisation buried under time and sand
Like moses once had led the chosen nation
Pharaos wrath has swept the earth

Breathing dust with peyote smile
So many miles through this desert wasteland
And I watch all the scorpions passing by
