The Scripture

In the beginning your gift was ignored
It took the threat of death to realize
I laid in the bed the word was die
You the prophet were by my side

You cared about the gift of life
I remorse for time lost and things done
I realize you're the one

In time I've known
You've given your time and your money
To this creature that they call god

The other side is where time's erased
Where night is eternal
And we walk as shadows of gods
To exist is to be deceased
If his words go unfulfilled
I will pray for his own death

Author that of life
Closed book of the prophet

Peace made in myself
I will remember words of kind.
